Greek Oregano is a variety of common oregano with a strong flavor and fragrance. This species is thought to have a cleaner and sharper taste than common culinary oregano,that is great for pizza and Italian cooking.
Graced with characteristic oval green leaves and white flowers Greek oregano has been known since ancient Greek where it is said to be created by Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty.
Medicinal properties: Greek Oregano has been used as a culinary and medicinal herb for thousands of years. It has a beneficial effect upon the digestive and respiratory systems
